Combat Special Missions Aviator Anthony Dyer joins me to talk about his new book MOON CHILD: THE ROOTS AND WINGS OF A USAF COMBAT SPECIAL MISSIONS AVIATOR, his time in combat high in the skies above the Middle-East, his transition from active duty to civilian life, and what he is doing to help fellow veterans like himself to make the move and find their identity post-service.Anthony spent times in several of the Air Force's and SOCOMs most elite units, including the 16th SOS as a previously titled "door gunner" until the Air Force converted the career field over to a "Combat Special Missions Aviator" where he took on tons more responsibility. He's got flight hours in the AC-130, HH-60, and the UH-1, and was apart of the team awarded the "Jolly Green Mission of the Year" in 2018. Lt Commander turned thriller author Robert Adamcik joins me to talk his new book “The Waveforce Affair”, naval warfare, and his thoughts on the Pentagon today.Bob served as a Surface Warfare officer in Operation Desert Storm, Southern Watch, Stabilize, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Today, Bob still works with the Navy as a contractor testing out some of the newest toys and weapons systems before they go live with the fleet. He is also a tour guide for the Battleship Wisconsin. Before he retired Bob was also a test director for guided missile submarines for the Navy, something he'd never done before (at least below the surface). The Martini Squad Adventures series is out now, and Adamcik just released the second book THE WAVEFORCE AFFAIR. A native New Yorker, David List began his career in the mailroom of the New York office of the William Morris Agency, quickly rising to become an agent in their exclusive TV Packaging division.
Subsequently, he moved to Los Angeles and segued into film and television production, first as Sr. Vice President of Development and Production, for Dodi Fayed, who later lost his life in an automobile crash with Princess Diana, and then for Albert S. Ruddy, legendary film producer of Oscar-winning films such as The Godfather and Million Dollar Baby.
He later founded his own company, RoadDog Industries, Inc., and in late 2022 was the Executive Producer of Miramax’s new Fletch film, Confess, Fletch, starring Jon Hamm.
He resides in Los Angeles. What Are the Odds, his first novel, is due out on October 22, 2024, from one of America’s most respected publishing houses, Blackstone Publishing. He is currently working on his second novel, The Whale Hunter.
