He recounts his experience getting admitted to the hospital in 2017 with a fever of 104 where shortly after became paralyzed from the chest down overnight. After extensive testing he was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called Transverse Myelitis. Despite his circumstances, Zach has risen to the occasion to make the most out of his circumstances and stays involved in hunting, fishing, adaptive snow skiing, hand cycling, shotgun sports, and archery.
